New Delhi: After intelligence inputs about terror to the national capital of India, the Delhi Police has been put on high alert following intelligence inputs about a probable terror threat in Delhi.

As per sources, intelligence agencies have alerted Delhi police on the possibility of four to five men entering the national capital with an intention to carry out a terror attack.

The Delhi police have been put on high alert in all its 15 police districts along with elite units of the Crime Branch and the Special Cell.

A special vigil is being maintained on the bordering areas of Delhi and a close watch is being kept in market areas and hospitals, which are seeing a large influx of patients these days, the sources added.

Besides, a thorough search is also being carried out at all guest houses and hotels in the city and vehicles are being scrutinised. Delhi police

have also alerted all the railway stations and bus stations too.

In view of the India-China stand-off in eastern Ladakh, the security agencies are on heightened vigil.
