New Delhi: Delhi government is now considering to take the help of German experts in making roads in national capital world-class. Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal met German Ambassador to India Philipp Ackermann. The two sides exchanged views on governance and opportunities for cooperation in the field of infrastructure development, waste management, and energy.
The German ambassador praised Delhi government’s initiatives to bring evolutionary changes in schools and hospitals of the national capital. The ambassador expressed his desire to visit Delhi government schools. He offered German expertise to the Delhi government on issues including pollution remediation.
Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia was also present in the meeting and informed the ambassador about the foreign languages; German and French being taught in government schools.
