Bhopal: On Monday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh assured Shivraj Singh, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh that the army hospitals will be opened for the civilians during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. To discuss the matter, the senior army officers will meet the CM today.
Regarding the worsening situation of the state, the PM assured full support to the CM of Madhya Pradesh. He stated that the Centre will provide all Covid-19 support like oxygen, Remedisvir injections, and other resources. The Government is also planning to open 2000 bed hospitals with the help of voluntary organizations in all the major metro cities of the state. The CM has also ordered Radha Satsang Trust in Indore to increase the number of beds from 2000 to 6000. To review the Covid-19 situation of the state, the CM held a virtual meeting with district collectors.
On Sunday, MP reported about 12,248 new Covid cases, which took the overall caseload to 4,08,080. The state also recorded 66 more deaths due to the deadly virus, pushing the toll to 4,557.
