New Delhi: The Centre has released notice on COVID vaccinations administration at workplaces. In order to increase the accessibility to vaccines amid the explosive surge, the centre permitted firms having 100 employees eligible to hold vaccination camps at their premises. The vaccine will be available for people aged 45 years and above, the government said, amid a huge demand to allow its access to all adults.

A letter from the health secretary to the Chief Secretary sent today read: “With support of the State Governments/UT administration, the efforts have been to consistently make the vaccination drive more pragmatic and also more acceptable and purposeful to the beneficiaries”.
The letter illustrated the eligibility of the private and public sectors and tagged them with an existing CVC to administer the jab.
