Delhi: India’s COVID new cases in the last 24 hours have fallen under 40,000. The daily new cases stand at 38,310 after more than 3 months.
The total Covid-19 caseload mounted to 82,67,623 with 38,310 fresh infections, while the death toll reached 1,23,097 after 490 new fatalities were reported, the data updated at 8 am showed on Tuesday.
According to the health ministry report, India’s Active Cases have fallen under 5.5 lakhs today whereas Total recovered cases have crossed 76 lakhs (76,03,121). The gap between active cases and recovered cases has crossed 70 lakh today.

Total 11,17,89,350 samples tested for Covid-19 up to 2nd November. Of these, 10,46,247 samples were tested yesterday, said Indian Council of Medical Research.
58,323 patients have recovered and discharged in the last 24 hours. 80% of the new recovered cases are observed to be concentrated in 10 States/UTs.
The recovery rate has escalated to 91.96%, Total cured cases are 76,03,121.
