New Delhi: India has detected 31,118 fresh cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours ending at 9 AM today. The newly detected cases take the overall tally to 94.62 lakh, which includes 4,35,603 active cases, 88,89,585 recovery cases, and 1,37,621 deaths.
A total of 482 new deaths and the toll has mounted to 1,37,621. Total active cases at 4,35,603. Total discharged cases at 88,89,585 with 41,985 new discharges in last 24 hours.
Among all the states, the national capital has witnessed the highest number of deaths caused by the virus throughout the month of November. The Delhi tally reported 2,612 fatalities in November, which was higher than the toll of June (2,219).
As many as 14,13,49,298 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the country so far, according to data from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). This milestone in Covid-19 testing has been recorded just nine days after the 13-crore mark on November 21.
