New Delhi: India reported 91,702 fresh infections in the past 24 hours. This took the cumulative count of infections to 2,92,74,823, stated the Union Health Ministry. With a recovery rate of 94.93 percent, 1,34,580 individuals recuperated after hospitalization in the last 24 hours taking the total recovery reached to 2,77,90,073
The number of active cases has reduced to 11,21,671 accounting for 3.83 percent of the total number of cases. The active cases reported a decline of 46,281 in the last 24 hours. However, the mortality rate recorded at 1.24 percent reported 3,403 deaths, taking the cumulative death toll to 3,63,079.
