New Delhi: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, on its official website, has updated its latest case count, which contains the tally results of the last day of January.

Today, on the first day of the 2nd month of the ongoing year, the active caseload in India stands at 1,65,704, which includes the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases throughout the last 24 hours, a total of 11,519 nationwide.

Meanwhile, the overall caseload in the country, recorded since the beginning of the pandemic, has reached 10,758,619.

The health ministry has also recorded the recovery rate as well as the mortality rate across the states and the union territories. The overall number of patients who recovered in the last 24 hours after suffering from this viral disease, has been detected to stand at 11,863.

With that, the total number of recovered people in the country has reached 10,433,988. While on the other hand, the health ministry also recorded the death rate of the last 24 hours, which stands at 116. The new record of the deceased people takes the overall count of death cases in the nation to 1,54,428.
