New Delhi: More than a year after it began, the coronavirus pandemic is still raging across the world. The Government needs to be more diligent and disciplined with its responsibility towards building a COVID free nation.

India’s COVID-19 count reached 1,08,80.413 with 9,353 new cases in the last 24 hours, as per the latest tally reports from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The latest updates reveal 1,33,086 active cases across the population of 1.3 billion in the country. A total of 1,05,87,351 diseased individuals have seemed to recover from the viral ailment. Additionally, the recovery of 15,722 more individuals is seen across the 37 states and UT’s. 

Another tally from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare disclosed an additional 85 mortuaries, shooting the mortality rates to 1,55,484.

Being the fastest country to vaccinate six million beneficiaries against COVID-19, the union health ministry revealed a count of 70,17,114 individuals shielded against the deadly virus.
