New Delhi: A continuous surveillance on the total COVID caseload in the country by the Health Ministry of India reveals disturbing figures. A slight rise in the active cases of India was noticed after new cases were reported in Maharashtra.
The updated records of COVID -19 India report an addition of another 12,539 cases totaling the confirmed count of individuals to 1,08,71,060 today, according to the Union Health ministry data.
There are 1,39,441 active cases of coronavirus in the country today. With the recovery rates showing a little improvement, 11,796 have recuperated from the deadly disease, bringing the total count of the recovered cases to 1,05,71,629 across the states and union territories since the initiation of the pandemic.
In the past 24 hours, the deadly virus has claimed almost 110 lives across the country spurting the number of mortuaries to 1,55,399 today.
As per the tally reports, India has registered a total of 66,11,561 vaccine administration amongst the citizens till date.
With Maharashtra and Kerala still struggling to combat COVID; Corona doesn’t seem to be leaving India soon.
