New Delhi: According to the last 24 hours’ tally done by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the overall COVID-19 caseload has reached 1,05,82,647, in inclusion with 9,972 newly detected cases.
With the latest count, the daily caseload of the virus-affected population has gone down below the 10,000 marks after more than 7 months. Also, in the last 24 hours, a total of 17,116 virus-affected people have been tested negative with the virus, pushing the overall recovery rate of the nation to 1,02,27,852.
On the other hand, 137 death cases across the states in the last 1 day have taken the death toll of the country to 1,52,593. The recovery rate in India, however, remains 96.66%.
Amongst the most highly affected states in India, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu have continued to remain on the top 5 list.
