New Delhi: The Ministry of Family and Health Welfare has updated the latest COVID-19 data on their official website, according to which, the nationwide current caseload stands at 2,05,109. The overall coronavirus tally in the country has reached 1,05,71,773.
The health ministry, in the last 24 hours, has detected a total of 13,962 fresh cases across the states, which is any way lesser than the rate of recovery. 14,513 recoveries on Sunday has taken the overall number of recovered people to 1,02,10,697.
On the other hand, 145 people lost the battle against the deadly virus in the last 24 hours. The number of the lately recorded deceased people has taken the overall COVID-19 death tally to 1,52,456.
Though the recovery rate of India is an applaudable 96.58%, in the global rate, over 9.49 crore people could not save themselves from the attack of the viral disease, from which a total of 20.29 lakh people died.
India, on the other hand, has started the world’s largest inoculation drive 2 days back and has vaccinated more than 2.24 lakh healthcare staff and frontline workers since the beginning of the drive. Throughout the vaccination drive, 447 adverse events have been reported from across the states, among which 3 were reported to be subjected to hospitalization.
