India’s COVID-19 infection count climbed up with the addition of new cases in the last 24 hours.
As per the Union Health Ministry, a consistent rise in the recoveries from the states is improving the national positivity rate. The latest tally reports, 11,358 fresh recoveries adding to the national count of 1,05,98,709. Kerala holds first place nationally with its highest recovery rates.
The active caseload is at 1,33,751. While the number of fresh confirmed cases of the deadly disease increased by 12,137 summing up the total count to 1,8,92550.
Maharashtra seems to be presenting more individuals with the viral disease.
Amongst all the states and UT’s; Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Dadra, and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu have succeeded in culminating their active cases to a single digit.
The novel virus has added another 104 to already deceased 1,55,588. The North-Eastern states of the country are witnessed zero deaths in the past 24 hours.
A total of 20.5Cr individuals have been tested across the nation.
