Corona Global: Highest death rates in Belgium, France & UK ; Germany performs better than other European nations
WORLD: On Wednesday, different countries across the World reported a total 56,696 new positive cases of COVID-19 taking the total count of coronavirus confirmed cases to 3,781,214. The deadly virus has killed 261,721 people, of which 3,694 fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours. The number of patients struggling with the virus at present is 2,243,638 accounting to the active cases worldwide. However, there are just 1,275,855 patients who have been cured till now.

Russia today reported 10,559 new cases, the maximum in the World, taking its total count to the seventh highest globally. Russia was earlier at a lower position in the list. However, since last week new positive cases have been rising in the country raising a serious concern for Russians.
The United States reported 8,224 new cases and 874 deaths on Wednesday. The death count has crossed 73,000 marks while there are more than 12million confirmed cases in the country. The US continues to be the worst affected nation.
Meanwhile, President Trump’s plan to ensure the restart of economic activities in the country seems a blunder costing very dear to this nation. Instead of taking such stupid decisions, it is important to adress the flaws of the medical & administrative system to save lives being lost to coronavirus.
The United Kingdom has reported 6,111 new cases & 649 new deaths. The death toll of the country is at 30,076, next after the US. The coronavirus deaths are at peak in this country.
Spain reported 3,121 new cases & 244 deaths. Spain stands at the second place with a huge number of infected patients. While Italy has registered 1,444 new cases & 369 deaths. Italy stands at third position in both the lists with 214,457 total cases & 29,684 deaths in the country.
An Italian firm, yesterday, announced to have developed a vaccine against COVID-19. However, human trials of the vaccine is still awaited.
