After the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Congress is now going to take out the ‘Samvidhan Bachao Rashtriya Pad Yatra’. The Congress has taken this decision in the CWC meeting being held in Belagavi, Karnataka. This padayatra of Congress will start from 26 January 2026 and will last for a whole year. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said, we believe that the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ gave ‘Sanjeevani’ to the Congress. This was a turning point in the politics of the Congress. Now we will start the ‘Samvidhan Bachao Rashtriya Pad Yatra’ which will run for a year from 26 January 2025.

Jairam Ramesh said, tomorrow we will organize a ‘Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim and Jai Samvidhaan’ rally in Belgaum. Then we will take it forward. After this, we will organize a ‘Samvidhaan Bachao Rashtriya Pad Yatra’ for one year. Under this, padyatras will be taken out from village to city in every state. All the big leaders will participate in it. All issues including constitution, economic system, democracy, Election Commission, Adani will be raised in it. He said that we will organize an AICC program in Gujarat in April.

We are determined to protect the Constitution: Rahul Gandhi

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has also posted a post on social media X. He said in the post that our new resolution in the ‘Nav Satyagraha’ meeting of the extended CWC held in Belgaum – we are organized, determined, dedicated to protect the Constitution. 

At the same time, Congress leader KC Venugopal said that Congress will start a political campaign ‘Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhaan’ from December 2024 to January 2026, raising issues related to the people. After the meeting, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that we presented two proposals in the CWC. The first on Mahatma Gandhi and the second political proposal. He said that Congress will start an organizational reform program in 2025. Under this, the capacity of leaders at every level will be thoroughly examined.
