Madhya Pradesh: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan submitted a virtual letter illustrating industrial plots in various industrial areas for 133 industries of the Department of Micro, Small, Medium and Industrial Policy and Investment from Jawad in Neemuch district under Jan Kalyan and Suraj Abhiyan on Saturday, October 2.
It is also reported that CM Chauhan will lay the foundation stone for infrastructure development works in 7 industrial areas from Jawad and dedicate them to the IT Park at Indore.
On Friday, CM Chouhan addressed a gathering at the Jan Kalyan and Suraj Abhiyan at Shivpuri. He proposed women empowerment as the new era of progress. Addressing the proposal he informed the change in terms of the contract with the food factories in Madhya Pradesh. As per the new proposal, all factories in the state would now be supervised by women from Self Help Groups (SHG). He also distributed financial assistance of Rs 250 crore under credit linkage to 20,000 women self-help groups of the state. Food allowance of Rs 22 was distributed to roughly 2.27 lakh women of Sahariya, Baiga and Bharia tribes and Rs 163.28 crore relief amount was distributed to the flood victims. Further, he also laid the foundation stone of 80 development works costing Rs 305 crore in Shivpuri district.
