Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday addressed a gathering at the Minto Hall, Bhopal under the Jan Kalyan and Suraj Abhiyan Scheme. At the event, he inaugurated 69 development projects of 24 bodies costing more than Rs 1056 crores. Also, on the recommendations of the 15th Finance Commission, a fund of Rs 299.04 crores were disbursed through online mode.
Beginning with the conference CM Chouhan encouraged every adult citizen to get vaccination before September 27th and also congratulated for the progress of vaccination throughout MP.
Additionally, a number of development works were proposed under the Madhya Pradesh Construction and Infrastructure Development Board. Citing the residential occupancy statistics of the urban belt Chouhan stated “The first need is cleanliness in the cities. As there is a problem of dengue around, maintaining the cleanliness to prevent dengue from spreading in Madhya Pradesh tops the priority.”
Furthermore, Chouhan also spoke on uplifting the social status of the economically backward society. He exclaimed that “It is necessary to give place to the poor in our development plans. We have resolved that we will make a slum-free city by benefitting the poor. Pucca roof will be given to the poor. Along with this he also guaranteed that no poor will live without a house in Madhya Pradesh.”
