Students can download their pass certificates, mark sheets and migration certificates from the app or the official website of the board. The Board authorities are informed to issue a hard copy of the migration certificate only at the request of the student.

A 30 per cent evaluation formula was set for the theory paper evaluation as the new assessment criteria.  Based on the new criteria 30 percent weightage was calculated from the Grade 10 and Grade 11 results each. And the remaining 40 percent weightage was awarded based on the marks obtained in Class 12 unit tests/mid-term/pre-board exams.

The board has also announced an optional exam for students in case they are not satisfied with the results.

Over 16 lakh students had registered for the CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021 which were cancelled this year. In view of the pandemic, the board decided for the first time in its history to cancel paper-based exams and instead evaluate students on the basis of their past performance.
