New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education on Wednesday released the notice for class 10 and 12 improvement and compartment exams.
As per the eligibility criteria, students who have shown dissatisfaction with the grades issued on a cumulative assessment, students who were not able to meet the qualifying criteria in one/two subjects and have been placed in the compartment category in the result declared, candidates whose result could not be prepared on the basis of tabulation policy in 2021, and students who have appeared as regular candidates in 6 subjects in 2021-declared as pass but could not clear any one subject from the five-main subjects are allowed to attend the exams.
Private candidates in the fail category and improvement candidates registered for the main examination are also eligible to appear in the exams. Apart from them, private candidates in the second compartment for the years 2019, 2020 can also appear in the offline exams.
The exams for both Class 10 and 12 would commence from August 25. Class 10 would conclude its schedule by September 8th while Class 12 exams would conclude on September 16. The datasheet for both the classes is available on the official website – cbse.gov.in.
The board has announced to conduct all exams under strict scrutinization and implementation of COVID behaviour.
In view of the pandemic, the CBSE had called off regular assessment policy and asserted an alternative assessment criteria, based on which it declared its results on July 30.
