New Delhi: Shortly after the CBI raided Manish Sisodia’ in connection with the excise policy case, the AAP started pouring in support for the excise chief. AAP MP Raghav Chadda took to Twitter and said- In today’s New York Times, there has been applause for the education revolution of the Kejriwal govt. The same morning the BJPs CBI raided the residence of Manish Sisodia. the hero of education revolution. He got a lot of raids done in 8 years but did not get anything. Keep getting it done even further- we will fully corporate in the investigation.”
CBI on Friday morning, a month after the Delhi LT Governor recommended a CBI probe against Sisodia, the central agency began raiding 21 locations simultaneously. Premises of the then Delhi Excise Commissioner Arava Gopi Krishna were also named in the search locations. An FIR has been registered by the CBI in connection with alleged irregularities in the formulation and execution of the Delhi Excise Policy brought in November last year, officials said.
Manish Sisodia took to Twitter early morning informed about the raid and stated to corporate.
AAP has accused the BJP of relentlessly targeting its ministers as part of its political plan to crush rivals. Mr Kejriwal said the CBI landed at Mr Sisodia’s doorstep the “day on which the Delhi education model was praised and Manish Sisodia’s picture was printed on the front page of America’s largest newspaper NYT.”
