Noida: On Saturday, two malls in North India were threatened with bombs, namely the DLF Mall in Noida, Uttar Pradesh and Ambience Mall in Gurugram, Haryana, through emails. The threats, which raised panic and concerns as to the safety of the visitors and staff of the two facilities, prompted the dispatch of police teams and bomb squads to the two scenes. Coordination was quickly deployed to conduct exhaustive search operations to locate everybody in the malls for their own safety.
It is said that the management of Ambience Mall in Gurugram received an email which was not only a death threat, but the alleged sender also said he had placed bombs in the mall as part of his killing plan. This increased the consciousness of the individuals in the security sector, compelling authorities to respond to the threat immediately to ensure its validity and ensure that the area was sealed off.
It may be noted that the DLF Mall in Noida is also said to have received a bomb threat from an unknown number yesterday. The message received in the e-mail was that a bomb was brought inside the mall and foreshadowed that all living beings in the building would be exterminated, and there would be no way out. As soon as the threat was received, the police were informed, and teams were deployed to the scene to conduct a search exercise.
Precautiously, every movement in the malls was ceased. At the entertainment section of Ambience Mall, people watching a film at one of the theatres had to be evacuated halfway through the movie due to possible danger. Also, the police ordered the mall’s employees, sellers, and buyers to evacuate and seek safer areas during the search and arrest operations.
The threat of a bomb validated people’s fears, and authorities acted in every possible way to safeguard the population and eliminate any threats. All the latest information was that the search was still under operation and the police were vigil about the happenings.
