New Delhi: The ruling BJP Party announced a 20-day event ‘Seva and Samarpan Abhiyan’ to begin from September 17 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure.
The party statement said, “Intellectuals and famous personalities will be invited to attend events that focus on PM Modi’s life and his achievements. In various languages, opinions and articles by prominent personalities will be published to ensure the message reaches out to public.”
A large-scale cleaning campaign will take place on Gandhi Jayanti which would deliver a public message urging the use of Khadi and local products. Sanitation camps will be held at the district level and food will be distributed under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, where female leaders will play a key role. The party members have been told, “All representatives will go to vaccine centers with an aim to spread awareness and thank the Prime Minister.”
BJP staff will register children orphaned by COVID to enable them procure benefit of the PM Cares fund. On the government website pmmemontos.gov.in,gifts received by the Prime Minister will be auctioned. The party officials also highlighted the prime minister’s efforts for ‘Dalits, Adivasis, backward communities and farmers.
The BJP National Secretary-General Kailash Vijayvargiya, D Purandeswari, Vinod Sonkar and Rashtriya Kisan Morcha President Rajkumar Chahar oversee these events. Party staff has been instructed to abide by COVID rules when organizing events.
