BJP Chief JP Nadda unleashed a withering attack on the opposition INDIA coalition, sugar-coating them as a venal emissary during a roadshow in Panchkula. Narendra Modi’s offensive against corruption had brought so much shame to the opposition that he used it as a weapon to attack it. Moreover, he mentioned the recently disclosed corruption cases pertaining to many big opposition leaders like Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, the huge business done by the Stalin family of DMK, and K Kavitha, who is accused and is either in jail or on bail.
Nadda also pointed out that the opposition politicians were practicing a family transfer of power, giving instances of where leaders were preparing their family members for political inheritance.
He particularly criticized dynastic trends as had within the likes of the Congress, National Conference, Shiromani Akali Dal and others, as the family members inherited leadership positions. Nadda spelled out the importance of giving adequate support to PM Modi, which will meet India’s development targets. He highlighted the development plans led by the BJP-led NDA and stressed that the election was not only about the candidate from Ambala Lok Sabha, Banto Kataria but about materializing the dream of a developed India, a field in which Mr. Modi has left no stone unturned and making the Indian dream a reality.
With these statements, the State president of BJP has demonstrated the party’s typical line of attack towards the opposition by pointing fingers at corruption and dynastic politics while promoting PM Modi’s leadership and the party’s growth-oriented agenda. This yarn aims to show the obvious difference between the BJP’s governance and way of governing against the said corruption that a certain opposition party is being implicated in and also bring it in line with the party’s current messaging for the elections that is ongoing.
