Allegedly, it has been reported that the gang associated with Punjab gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has taken responsibility for the killing of Sukhdool Singh, also known as Sukha Duneke. Singh was a fugitive wanted by India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) for alleged connections with Khalistan militants. The incident occurred in Canada. Is believed to be the result of what’s being described as “inter gang violence.”

These claims have emerged amidst a dispute between India and Canada which started after the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the leader of Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) in Surrey, Canada. Nijjar is said to have ties to Babbar Khalsa International, a banned group.

Although agencies have not officially confirmed these assertions regarding Duneke’s murder, the NIA recently stated that the profits from Lawrence Bishnoi’s drug smuggling operations could potentially be used to support activities linked to the banned organization Babbar Khalsa International.

As per NIA reports, Lawrence Bishnoi – a known criminal who allegedly turned into a terrorist – has been detained since 2015 on charges related to activities. He is believed to be running a network involved in smuggling drugs from Pakistan to Gujarat via sea routes.

According to the NIA, it is claimed that these funds from drug trafficking were supposedly meant to support the operations of Babbar Khalsa International and other insurgent organizations in northern parts of India.
