Araria: In an incident Bimal Yadav, a journalist working for Dainik Jagran was brutally killed in his residence located in Bihar’s Araria district. The attackers, whose identities remain unknown allegedly forced their way into his home. Fatally shot him during the hours of the morning.
According to reports the tragic event occurred around 5;30 am, in the Raniganj market area when four intruders approached Yadavs house and fired a shot at his chest. The impact of the attack caused his death.
A large number of residents and colleagues of the journalist gathered at the post mortem site to express their anger over this appalling act. Important officials such as the Superintendent of Police for the district and the local Member of Parliament are currently present at the scene.
Commenting on this situation Ashok Kumar Singh, Ararias Superintendent of Police stated, “This morning we lost Vimal, a journalist from Dainik Jagran. Our team from Forensic Science Laboratory is already on site collecting evidence. We are fully committed, to ensuring that those responsible are brought to justice.”
Chirag Paswan, a figure and leader of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) took this opportunity to criticize how law enforcement is being handled by the current state government.
Regarding a statement made by Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, about the crime rates in the state compared to others Paswan made a pointed comment. He suggested that perhaps the Chief Minister could share those statistics with families who are mourning the loss of their loved ones due, to crimes.
