HYDERABAD: AICC leader Rahul Gandhi on the 10th day of the padayatra will address a massive public meeting on November 7 at Jukkal before entering Maharashtra as he is set to finish the Telangana leg on the same day, party sources said. There will be two rallies in Maha on Nov 10 and 18th as a part of the yatra- said a senior party official.
The party’s mass contact initiative will enter Nanded on Monday evening and resume at 6:30 am the next day from the Delgur bus stand. Four days later it will enter the Hingoli district on November 11th, Washim on Nov 15, Akola on Nov 16, and Bulandha on Nov 18. The 14-day sojourn will cover 15 assemblies and 16 parliamentary constituencies in the state.
It is being said that more than 100 prominent personalities from different walks of life would participate in the yatra. It is likely that Sharad Pawar would join the Gandhi scion on Nov 9th.
The Telangana foot march began on October 24 and will end on November 7th as the convoy enters Maharashtra. The participation of Uddhav Thackeray Shiv Sena faction is likely to be highlighted to feature solidarity between MVA and the grand old party.
