New Delhi: After covering a distance of three thousand kilometers, Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Delhi from the Badarpur border on Saturday morning. Rahul’s convoy will also pass through India Gate. There will be different halts in seven parliamentary constituencies of Delhi. 

Top leaders of the party, artists, sportspersons, along with people of all classes and communities, and thousands of party workers will also participate in the yatra. Mother Sonia Gandhi and sister Priyanka Vadra also joined Rahul in the yatra today in Delhi.

While entering Delhi for Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi said that some people are spreading hatred but the common man of the country is now talking about love. “Lakhs of people have participated in the yatra in every state. I have told the RSS-BJP people that we have come here to open a shop of love in your ‘bazaar’ of hatred”, the Congress leader said.

Rahul also stopped his Bharat Jodo Yatra near Apollo Hospital to make way for an ambulance. He stayed for a while to get the ambulance out. He also asked fellow walkers to give way to the ambulance. The Bharat Jodo Yatra has already will cover 12 states, covering a total of 3,570 kms, before ending in Jammu and Kashmir at the end of January.

The journey started from the border at 6 am, Rahul Gandhi walked eight and a half kilometers in one hour and 40 minutes. After this, he stayed at New Friends Colony for rest. The yatra will reach Red Fort at 4.30 pm via Nizamuddin, ITO Chowk, Rajghat. Due to the yatra, there is a possibility of jams in many places. In view of this, Delhi Police has also issued an advisory to avoid certain roads for the common people to avoid harassment.
