Ujjain: Former National President of Congress Rahul Gandhi took three girl students of MP on a helicopter tour and kept his promise. Rahul had promised them the same during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Ujjain. After 10 days, he called the girl students to Rajasthan after the Yatra entered the Bundi district of Rajasthan on Thursday. After completing the journey in Kota, Rahul reached the helipad built at Gudli in Bundi. All three girl students were already called there for the ride. 

During the visit to Ujjain, Rahul Gandhi and former Chief Minister Kamal Nath danced with the children of Shriram Convent Higher Secondary School in Badnagar. After this, Rahul talked with the children for about 30 minutes. He had also met Class 11 students Aahina Panwar and Sheetal Patidar and Class 10 student Girija Panwar of the same school. It was then that the girl students had expressed their desire to become pilots. Upon knowing that they have never sat on a plane, Rahul had promised all three that he will give them an air journey soon.

After 10 days i.e. on Thursday, Rahul Gandhi called all three girl students to Bundi in Rajasthan. The happiness of the girls’ families knew no bounds after receiving Rahul’s sudden call. The principal of the school, Mohan Singh Panwar, took the three girl students to Bundi. There on the helipad in Gudli, Rahul Gandhi took all three for a helicopter ride for about 30 minutes.

When the three girl students got down from the helicopter, Rahul also gave them chocolates. Along with this, Rahul and the pilot of the helicopter also gave technical details of the helicopter to the girl students for 10 minutes. Rahul got photographs taken with all three daughters. After this, Rahul Gandhi left for Sawaimadhopur to meet Sonia Gandhi.
