New Delhi: In Delhi’s Bhajanpura, the administration’s bulldozer ran on an illegal dargah and an illegal temple amid tight security. During the action taken by the administration, heavy security forces were deployed in the area to deal with any kind of emergency situation.

The temple was built on the footpath in Bhajanpura and the Mazar was built on the middle road. Both the structures were built in PWD land and were being removed on the recommendation of the committee constituted by LG.

Sources reveal that the place where these religious places were located is a riot-affected area. Keeping in mind, the administration started an operation at 4 AM by deploying security forces, which is still going on. Meanwhile, the police had closed the roads of residential streets to prevent people from reaching the religious place.

The JCB removed the illegal construction. The structures were causing heavy traffic jams and PWD is constructing a flyover there. The idols were carefully taken to another place before being the action. Earlier, a notice was pasted on the temple and the tomb, and were asked to remove the religious belongings before the administration could begin their proceedings.
