As today marked the release of ‘Radhe- your most wanted Bhai’ across several OTT platforms, trade analysts believed that people might not take keen interest in watching the movie on digital platforms. But for a change, the ZEE servers saw a massive 1.25 million login attempts on the first 2-3 hours itself that ensured the star power of Bollywood’s bhaijaan to be intact. The ZEE servers crashed as they could not bear such overloads.
Regarding such massive fallout, a film critic and trade analyst said, “This shows the star power of Salman Khan. Many were predicting that the pay-per-view format would not work in India and that hardly anyone would be ready to shell out Rs. 249 to watch the film. But this news of servers getting crashed proves how desperate and eager are people to watch Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai. It also indicates that the film would have had a very huge opening had it released in cinemas in India. Imagine if a million people saw the film at the time of its release, how many people would watch it later in the day; imagine how many more people would view it tomorrow, the day of Eid, and during the weekend”.
Meanwhile, yesterday Salman khan appealed to his fans to prevent the piracy of his new movie and help those who have invested lots of time, money and energy to build such an entertaining movie for the audience during such tough pandemic times. The ZEE authorities have also declared that they will use the revenue collected from the movie towards covid relief work. You can also watch the movie by subscribing to the ZEE platforms and contribute to the good cause!
