Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh: After the Shraddha murder case, many cases of such murders are coming to the fore across the country. A similar murder was carried out in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, about a year ago. There a man killed his wife and cut her body into pieces. He put the pieces of the dead body in a drum and left the house where he was living as a tenant. The matter came to light after a year. The incident is of Madhurwada in Visakhapatnam. Police suspect that the pieces of the body are one year old. 

“The said case has come to light from Maduravada of Visakhapatnam today when the owner of the house forcefully entered the house to clear the belongings present in the house. In June 2021, the tenant vacated the house without clearing the dues, citing wife’s pregnancy. But it is said that he had come to the house through the back door once after, but yet hadn’t paid the owner. After waiting for over one year, the owner today forcefully entered the house to clear the belongings of the tenant when in a drum body parts of a woman has been recovered,” Visakhapatnam Police Commissioner CH Srikkanth said

According to the information received from the police, the landlord went inside after breaking the lock and saw that a big drum was lying there. When he opened the drum, there were pieces of a dead body in it. After this, he informed the police. The tenant vacated the house in June 2021. Police suspect that he might have vacated the house after killing his wife and stuffing her body into pieces in a drum. A case has been registered on the basis of the complaint of the landlord. The matter is being investigated.
