Patna: On Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah drew a clear line between Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who celebrates Diwali with soldiers, and the Congress leader who rushes abroad to take vacations whenever the weather becomes uncomfortable for him. The statement made by Shah came during his address to a rally at Karakat Lok Sabha constituency of Bihar.
The INDI alliance is on that side involved in scams, scandals, and corruption to the tune of 12 lakh crore in this election, said Shah. “On the other side, there is our Narendra Modi ji, who after 23 years as chief minister and prime minister has no charges against him”.
Shah then placed Modi in the context of his early life, stating that he was born in a lower middle-class family, to which Gandhi could not relate being born into a highly regarded family of Gujarat. “On the one hand, we have Rahul Gandhi, who has been born into the Congress Party aristocracy, on the other hand, we have Narendra Modi ji, born into a very humble tea seller family originally belonging to a very low caste.”
The former BJP president also condemned the Congress party with a verbal tongue twister ‘scared of Pakistan’s atomic bombs’, and his government is committed to taking back Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. “Our government, which has abrogated Article 370 in the region of Jammu and Kashmir, is willing to annex Pakistan Occupied Kashmir ‘It was ours, is ours, and will always remain ours,” emphasised Modi’s follower, Shah.
Amit Shah also aimed at former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav as discriminating against Muslims, saying that he wants 100% reservation for Muslims. “Lalu ji says Muslims deserve 100% reservation They have got reservations in Bengal Karnataka and Hyderabad, this arrogant anti Hindu alliance, has given,” Shah pointed out. He stated that it was very true that such reservations were made at the detriment of poor or rather backward communities.
