NEW DELHI: India’s covid-19 tally stood at 128 in a day as no fresh infections were added on Friday. The active cases have declined by 1,763, according to the union health ministry data shared. The daily positivity rate was 0.05 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate was pegged at 0.07 per cent.
With just 20 active cases, the total number of covid cases reached 4.47 crore.
The death count stands at 5,30,741 with one death reported from Uttar Pradesh, the data updated.
With the recuperation rate at 98.8 per cent, 147 diseased individuals recovered. The number of beneficiaries who recuperated cumulatively stood at 4,41,50,617.
Under the nationwide vaccination drive 2,20,52,82,895 COVID-19 doses have been administered. 1,68,922 doses were registered in the past 24 Hours. So far 91,57,85,225 infected samples have been tested.
