Gujarat: The incident of a horrific road accident has come to light in Navsari, Gujarat. There was a fierce collision between a bus and an SUV car on Saturday morning. Nine people have died in this accident, while more than 30 people have been injured. According to the police, the accident happened on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai highway. One seriously injured person has been referred to Surat.
According to reports, the bus which met with an accident on Navsari National Highway-48 was coming from a program in Surat. It is reported that the driver of the Toyota Fortuner coming from Valsad in the morning suddenly suffered a heart attack and lost control of the car. After this, the SUV crossed the divider and collided with the bus coming from the front.
In this incident, all eight people in the car lost their lives, while the death of one person on the bus has also come to the fore. The people on the bus have been admitted to a private hospital nearby. Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted regarding this incident in Gujarat. “The road accident in Gujarat’s Navsari is heartbreaking. My condolences to those who have lost their families in this tragedy. May God give them the strength to bear the pain. The local administration is giving immediate treatment to the injured, praying for their speedy recovery”, Amit Shah said in a tweet.
