Kolkata: After a massive win over strong opponent BJP, the Mamata Banerjee-led govt is all set to start their 3rd innings with full enthusiasm. While on Wednesday, Mamata Banerjee took oath as the 3rd time CM, her cabinet ministers are going to take oath today to start their work in full swing. As many as 43 MLAs will be administered the minister’s seat today.

The list of the ministers includes Subrata Mukherjee, Firhad Hakim, Aroop Biswas, Partha Chaterjee, Bratya Basu amongst others. The swearing-in ceremony is all set to take place in raj Bhavan in presence of the party head Mamata Banerjee. They will be sworn in by Governor Jagdeep Dhankar who also sworn in Mamata Banerjee as the third time CM.

Out of the 294 state assembly seats in Bengal, 213 were secured by TMC while BJP acquired 77 odd seats after a tough competition. Two of the constituencies are still left to be voted due to the death of the candidates due to covid. The new sets of ministers are going to start work on the covid situation soon after the ceremony ends.
