NEW DELHI: India on Tuesday reported 3,325 fresh infections in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 44,952,996. As per the updated data, the active cases comprising of 0.11 percent of the total infections dipped to 44,175.
The national COVID-19 recovery rate that stood at 98.71 per cent accounted for 4,43,77,257 recuperations.
The fatality rate stood at 1.18 per cent accounting for 5,31,564. The death toll rose by 17, which included seven reconciled by Kerala.
According to MOHFW, 220.66 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
