Shahjahanpur: In a horrific incident of lust and love, a UP man raped a 28-year-old woman and allegedly recorded the video of the crime in a bid to pressure her to change her religion and marry her.
The victim, a government employee in her complaint alleged that she was made sedated after she accepted the lift offered by the accused. On gaining consciousness the lady learnt about the tragedy she underwent. T
The woman in her complaint named the mother, sister, brother and another relative of accused Amir. SP Sanjay Kumar said that the woman has also alleged Amir’s family members were pressuring her to convert and get married to him.
The survivor has been sent for medical examination, while the accused and others named have been charged under the UP Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act.
