‘1962 – The War in the Hills’ Web Series Starred by Abhay Deol to Be Premiered on Disney Plus Hotstar

An upcoming web series, which is based on true events that happened during the 1962 Indo-China war, starring Abhay Deol, is going to have a world premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar from February 26. The trailer of the series named 1962 – The War in the Hills, has already crossed over 3 million views. 

The series has been directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and is eyeing a release on February 26. Deol will be seen playing an army major in the series of the untold tale of valor and bravery.

Besides an awe-inspiring trailer on their YouTube channel, the streaming giant had earlier revealed the first look of their series on their official Twitter handle as well, captioning it – “Presenting the first look of #HotstarSpecials1962 – The War In The Hills. An untold story of bravery and courage. All episodes out on Feb 26. Jai Hind! #HotStarSpecials1962 #TheWarInTheHills #StreamingFromFeb26”. 

Meanwhile, Abhay Deol had also taken to his Instagram handle on Republic Day to unveil the first teaser of his upcoming project. The actor, on his Insta handle, wrote – “1962. WATCH THE TRAILER FOR MY NEW SHOW! What better occasion than today to salute all those brave hearts who fought to protect our motherland.
