Deoghar Road Accident Video: A horrific road accident has taken place in Deoghar, Jharkhand. 18 Kanwariyas died in a bus-truck collision. More than a dozen people were seriously injured in this accident who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. After performing Jalabhishek at Baba Baijnath Dham in Baba Nagari Deoghar, the bus full of Kanwariyas was on its way to perform Jalabhishek at Basukinath Temple in Dumka. During this, it collided head-on with a truck. All the deceased were residents of Gaya in Bihar.
Godda MP Nishikant Dubey posted on social media and informed about the death of 18 people. The MP wrote on social media – 18 devotees have died due to an accident between a bus and a truck during the Kanwar Yatra in the month of Shravan in Deoghar, my Lok Sabha constituency. May Baba Baidyanath Ji give strength to their families to bear the grief.
According to the information, a bus full of devotees from Gaya in Bihar was going to the Basukinath temple in Dumka to perform Jalabhishek after performing Jalabhishek at Baba Baijnath Dham in Deoghar. Meanwhile, at 5 am on Tuesday, a head-on collision occurred with a truck in Navapura village near Jamunia Chowk in Mohanpur block of Deoghar. The collision was so strong that half of the bus got completely submerged. The bags and belongings of the Kanwariyas are seen hanging in the bus.
Earlier, Inspector General (Dumka Zone) Shailendra Kumar Sinha told media that five people were confirmed dead and that the condition of many of those injured was serious.
