NEW DELHI: India reported 171 fresh coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours taking the number of active cases to 2,342, the Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday. The cumulative coronavirus infection count now stands at 4.46 crore (4,46,80,215).
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.09 and the weekly positivity rate was pegged at 0.11.
The total recuperations stood at 4,41,47,322 with a recoveey rate at 98.80 per cent. The fatality rate at 1.19 per cent recorded 5,30,722 deaths so far.
In the past 24 hours, over 50,000 beneficiaries were immunized that took the total number of immunizations to 220.15 crores.
