New Delhi: India recorded 11,106 fresh infections in the past 24 hours. The recovery rate at 98.28 per cent accounted for 12,789 recuperations in the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to 3,38,97,921. The daily positivity rate stood at 0. 98 per cent, less than 2 per cent for 46 consecutive days.

The number of active cases stood at 1,26,620 accounting for 0.37 per cent of the total number of cases. The active cases reported a decline of 2142 in the last 24 hours. However, the mortality rate recorded at 1.35 per cent reported a spike in deaths recording 459 fatalities, taking the cumulative death toll to 4,65,082.

The nation crossed 115 crore mark informed Unions Health Minister on Thursday evening. He praised the Har Ghar Dastak campaign for strengthening the world’s largest vaccination drive. Taking to Twitter, Mandaviya said, “As India’s vaccination coverage crosses 115 crore mark, PM Narendra Modi Ji’s words ring true – once. Indians decide to do something, nothing is impossible! #HarGharDastak strengthening world’s largest vaccination drive!”

Har Ghar Dastak is a door-to-door mega Vaccination campaign that aims to complete maximum single dose and second dose adult COVID-19 vaccination in the country. It was launched on November 2 on the occasion of Dhanwantari Diwas. The campaign ensures that those who cannot go out are vaccinated in their homes. Further, this campaign will run from November 3 to November 30.

As per the statistics reported to Ministry of Family Health and Welfare, so far 115.23 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country , including 72.94 lakh doses administered in the last 24 hours.
