Balodabazar: Balodabazar district has reported a case of child pornography.Under the direction of the in-charge of the Kotwali police station, accused identified as Mukesh Verma was arrested by Vijay Chaudhary, Karhi outpost in-charge Hitesh Jungle, and the team. On investigation two mobile phones used for the downloading porn were confiscated from the accused possession.
Significant contributions in the case was reported by Constables Dorilal Katkwar, Vikash Kurre, Sameer Pathak, Kumar Jaiswal from the cyber unit, and Neha Tiwari.
In India, watching or exchanging child pornography photographs, videos, or publications is a crime punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to ten lakh rupees.
