Actually, she was ill for a long time, she passed away on Saturday at the age of 85 due to multiple organ failure. After her death, her family members cremated her at Versova crematorium at 2 pm. The director’s team has confirmed the death of director and producer Vikram Bhatt’s mother Varsha Bhatt. Vikram Bhatt’s mother has always been the strongest link in the Bhatt family.
Director and producer Vikram Bhatt has made films like ‘Madhosh’, ‘Gunehgar’, ‘Bambai Ka Babu’ and Aamir Khan starrer ‘Ghulam’ in his career. In the year 2002, as a director, Vikram Bhatt made his first horror genre film ‘Raj’. People liked this film very much. After which he made horror films like ‘Fear’, ‘1920’, ‘Shaapit’, ‘Haunted 3D’, ‘Raj 3D’, ‘Creature 3D’, ‘Raj Reboot’, ‘1921’, ‘Ghost’, ‘Juda Hogi Bhi’.
In 2008, Vikram Bhatt returned to the horror genre and went on to deliver successful films like 1920, Shaapit, and Haunted – 3D. In 2010, he introduced stereoscopic 3D technology in India with Haunted – 3D, which went on to become the highest-grossing Hindi horror film at the time.
