After surpassing the Rs 30 crore milestone at the Indian box, office, “Venom: The Last Dance”, starring Tom Hardy and directed for and by Kelly Marcel, has subsequently been found to have a significantly low market reception, as evidenced by ticket sales.
The movie collected its lowest revenue, amounting to Rs 3.5 crore on its 5th release day, irrespective of language. This takes its grand total of the amassed box office to roughly Rs 35.35 crore.
“Venom: The Last Dance” is the final part of director Kelly Marcel, in which Tom Hardy returns to the role of Eddie Brock / Venom. The film continues the narrative established in the previous installments, “Venom” (2018) and “Venom: Let There Be Carnage,” released in 2021. The major cast, including Hardy, is embraced by famous actors like Chiwetel Ejiofor, Joun Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham, all who enhance the feature film acting tradition.
The success of the movie was great at the beginning, but since then, the following have affected the movie in a way: competition with other movies that are scheduled to be on display during the celebration of Diwali, which is usually a big event, and many people turn up for movies. The Indian festive season has always had a good number of moviegoers, and the films released during this time have done great business. As a result, “Venom: The Last Dance” is up against some stiff opposition, which may affect the film’s business in the days to come.
Though the film has failed to make an impressive collection in its first week, still it can bounce back if only the action scenes and storyline can pull the audience to the theaters. The franchise’s fans are optimistic that the film will get back on track as more people share the word-of-mouth and many people go to theaters. The latter adds tension to the show as viewers expect the final chapter of Eddie Brock and Venom’s story.
