Mumbai: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s film Tiger 3 has finally landed online. It is now available on Prime Video for the subscribers of the OTT platform. The film had released on Diwali last year and earned gross worldwide collection of ₹466.63 crore.
Announcing on Instagram, Salman shared a Tiger 3 poster with the caption: “Locked, loaded and ready! Aa raha hai Tiger (Tiger is coming)… #Tiger3OnPrime, watch now only on @primevideoin @katrinakaif | @therealemraan | #ManeeshSharma | @yrf.” The poster shows Salman and Katrina standing with their loaded pistols and Emraan Hashmi, who played the antagonist, standing in the background.
Directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Yash Raj Films, ‘Tiger 3’ is the third installment in the Tiger series and the fifth in the expansive YRF Spy Universe, following ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘Pathaan’, and ‘War’.
The film, which also features Emraan Hashmi and Riddhi Dogra in prominent roles, opened to a thunderous response at the box office, raking in an impressive Rs 464 crore worldwide.
The critical reception of ‘Tiger 3’ had been a mix of opinions, with some praising its high-octane action sequences while others noted a formulaic approach in handling political themes. The film’s central plot carries echoes of Aman Ki Aasha sentimentality, with tired themes of portraying Pakistan as a negative force while emphasizing the distinction from its people.
Salman Khan, who reprises his role as Tiger alongside Katrina Kaif as Zoya, shared a special message upon the film’s release, urging fans to avoid spoilers and preserve the cinematic experience for everyone. In his message, Salman Khan emphasized, “We trust you to do what is right. We hope #Tiger3 is the perfect Diwali gift from us to you!”
‘Tiger 3’ offers special appearances from Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan as Kabir, adding an extra layer of excitement for fans of the YRF Spy Universe. With its upcoming OTT release, ‘Tiger 3’ is poised to roar once again, this time in the digital realm, promising an action-packed experience for viewers.
