Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s espionage thriller, “Tiger 3,” marked a steady performance on its second Monday, accruing ₹6.5 crore, as reported by industry trackers. The film experienced an anticipated decline in numbers during the previous week, attributed to the ICC World Cup final on Sunday and preceding semi-finals. Despite this, the movie’s cumulative domestic box office earnings have now surpassed ₹230 crore.

For those unfamiliar, “Tiger 3” is the third installment in the successful Tiger franchise, featuring Salman Khan as Avinash Singh Rathore (Tiger) and Katrina Kaif as Zoya, both super spies. Notably, it is the fifth film within the Yash Raj Spy Universe, alongside other blockbusters like “Pathaan” and “War.”

Bollywood trade analysts confirmed the impact of the ICC World Cup final on “Tiger 3’s” box office numbers. Taran Adarsh noted, “Tiger 3 lost out on a major chunk of biz due to IND vs AUS match. The biz, post-noon, got massively dented for this reason.” The film’s performance during the second week was detailed with Friday earning ₹13 crore, Saturday accumulating ₹18.25 crore, and Sunday recording ₹10.25 crore, bringing the total to ₹224.50 crore for the Hindi version in India.

The overarching success of “Tiger 3” underscores its resilience at the box office, overcoming disruptions and maintaining a substantial collection. The star-studded cast and the film’s association with the Yash Raj Spy Universe continue to draw audiences, solidifying its position in the realm of Bollywood blockbusters. As the week progresses, the film’s box office trajectory remains closely monitored within the industry, reflecting its enduring appeal among moviegoers.
