Mumbai: The Kerala Story, starring Adah Sharma and directed by Sudipto Sen, has reached close to the 70 Crore Box Office mark in jus t six days. It was reported that the movie collected a total of 12 crores on Wednesday, due to which it has now reached a total Box Office Collection of 68.86 crores. This is the highest the movie has collected this week as of Monday, and it collected 10.07 crores and 11.14 crores on Tuesday.
The Industry trackers have reported that the movie collected an estimated 12 crores on Wednesday. It has also been announced that the movie will be released in 37 more countries in 12 other languages. Adah Sharma was greeted to know about the love and response the movie receives from the people. She expressed her emotions by tweeting.
The impact of this movie has been positive across many states, as Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttarakhand have declared the movie tax-free. Haryana now joins this list as the Chief Minister of Haryana also announced that the Kerala Story is now tax-free to watch.
Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, also watched the movie in a special screening. He said about the movie, he “Watched The Kerala Story, last evening in Nagpur. This is not just a story but a huge step towards awareness of a conspiracy against our nation by indoctrination and brainwashing on how women are tortured into it. It is based on facts, and it will expose the conspirators.”
