Sonam Kapoor is making a comeback in the film “Blind” after a hiatus. Directed by Shome Makhija, the movie also stars Lucy Arden and Shubham Saraf. It is set to release on July 7th on Jio Cinema.

In “Blind,” Sonam portrays the character of a visually impaired police officer who embarks on a pursuit of a serial killer. The trailer showcases her exceptional abilities despite her blindness, relying on her other senses to gather information. Sonam’s portrayal of a strong and resilient character has garnered positive reception.

The film is an adaptation of the 2011 Korean movie “Blind” and features an ensemble cast including Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey. It was primarily filmed in Glasgow, Scotland.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sonam Kapoor shifted to London, and “Blind” marks her return to acting. Since 2019, she has been on a break from the industry, making a brief appearance in the film “AK vs AK” in 2020 alongside her father Anil Kapoor, brother Harshvardhan Kapoor, and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap.
