Shah Rukh Khan’s remarkable career gained yet another accomplishment. At the 77th Locarno Film Festival, he became the first Indian celebrity to receive the Pardo alla Carriera, or Career Leopard, as a lifetime achievement award on Saturday. On the other hand, a red carpet video featuring the actor is trending on X due to allegations that he pushed someone while posing for solo photos.
The clip of the actor walking the Locarno Film Festival red carpet on Saturday was shared by an X user. In it, the actor moved towards a man who was standing close to the photographers on one side. The actor seemed like he “pushed” the person to get him out of the frame while he was being photographed. A section of X users, though, criticized his gesture.
‘He pushed that old man’
An X user tweeted the video, saying, “He pushed that old man!!!” Shah Rukh Khan, you are a shame.” Several people responded to the tweet. Someone said, “always knew he (Shah Rukh) is not a nice person; he tries to pretend to be…”
Another tweeted, “Indeed, it was not a playful behavior but Shah Rukh’s arrogance! What if the old man did the same with Shah Rukh?” Someone also wrote for the actor, “Always rude. He behaves as if he is above all and also an immortal.”
Fans defend Shah Rukh Khan
However, a lot of fans brought up the fact that the actor was only being “playful” with the man in the video. “King (Shah Rukh) having fun times,” one person tweeted. One more individual responded, “Yes. He has an old friend in that guy.” “That’s one of his old friends (Laughing emojis). Now try spreading negativity lol.”
