During the World Cup 2023 final, between India and Australia in Ahmedabad, the spy film Tiger 3 didn’t perform well at the box office. Reports suggest that on Sunday, Tiger 3 earned around ₹10.25 crore net, following a collection of ₹18.5 crore net in India on Saturday. Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif along with Emraan Hashmi and directed by Maneesh Sharma, was released in theaters on November 12. Had an opening of ₹44.5 crore nett across all languages in India. The film’s highest collection day was its Monday, when it accumulated ₹59.25 crore net across all languages.

However, on November 19, the film had its collection with ₹10.25 crore nett. The box office numbers for Tiger 3 show fluctuating performance with ₹44.3 crore net on day 3, ₹21.1 crore net on day 4, ₹18.5 crore net on day 5, ₹13.25 crore net on day 6, and ₹18.5 crore net on day 7.

Globally Tiger 3 has been a success by earning over ₹357 crores in its week at theaters. Salman Khan expressed his gratitude for the audience’s love and emphasized his connection to the success of the Tiger franchise.

The actor, who has played the character of the spy Avinash Singh Rathore (Tiger) since the franchise started in 2012 with Ek Tha Tiger, expressed gratitude, for the recognition, as a ” success.” 

Salman Khan conveyed his appreciation, stating, “It is a character for which I have put my body on the line every single time. I have actually given it my all. So, the success of these films is also very personal to me.” As the latest installment continues to captivate audiences, the Tiger franchise stands as a testament to Salman Khan’s enduring popularity and the widespread acclaim for his portrayal of the iconic character.
